From an early age Kate's interest in creativity was shining through which continued throughout her education and she graduated with a BA(Hons) fashion degree from Northumbria University in 1999. Kate then went on to gain industrial experience for 3 years until the opportunity arose for her to start her own design and manufacturing business in January 2002 - the Kate Fearnley brand was born!
Kate's talent for using unusual fabrics to compliment her designs has been the key to her success in the unpredictable world of the British manufacturing business.
Her designs have attracted the attention of many celebrities, such as HOLLYOAKS, Coronation Street, X Factor, Alexandra Burke, Zoe Salmon, Katie Price and Girls Aloud.
