Frankie Sandford

Frankie Sandford

Francesca "Frankie" Sandford was born on 14th January 1989 and is a singer and member of girl group The Saturdays. Her career started as a member in the band S Club 8.

Her career started in 2001 with S Club Juniors (a spin off from S Club 7), who went on to shoot children's television programme I Dream, before officially disbanding in early 2005.

Frankie is currently a member of the girl group The Saturdays, alongside other members Una Healy, Mollie King, Vanessa White, and fellow former-S Club 8 member Rochelle Wiseman. They have achieved six top ten singles and two top ten albums in their short career. Indeed their debut album, Chasing Lights, has been certified platinum.

Frankie previously worked in a bar and had a Saturday job as a salesperson in All Saints and House of Fraser in London. She dated McFly boy-band member Dougie Poynter from McFly but the pair separated in March 2010 after over a year together. It didn't take long for them to realise their mistakes though - they resumed their relationship after a two-week break, and still live together.
