Hayden Leslie Panettiere was born on 21st August 1989 and is an American actress who is best known as 'cheerleader' Claire Bennett in the hit US series 'Heroes'.
At the age of eleven Hayden initially found fame with her portrayal of Sheryl Yoast in Disney's Remember the Titans.
From birth, Hayden has been in the media spotlight - at the age of four months old she began modelling and first appeared in commercials at 11 months. She has appeared in over a dozen full-length feature films, several made-for-TV movies and provided the voice for Dot in A Bug's Life.
In early 2007, Hayden appeared on the Ashton Kutcher-produced show, Punk'd. The appearance was engineered by her mother and involved a male "fan" discussing her work with her, instigating a jealous reaction from the man's spouse.
Most recently, in May 2010, she was cast in the upcoming film Scream 4.
In 2006, she began dating Stephen Colletti, the former Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County, star but the couple broke up in September 2007. It was widely reported that she was dating fellow Heroes co-star Milo Ventimiglia but she soon dismissed these reports. It later transpired that they were dating but they ended their relationship in February 2009.
In late 2009 she started dating professional boxer Wladimir Klitschko.
She has a tattoo of the Italian words Vivere senza rimipianti running down her left side which is misspelled in what otherwise would mean "To Live Without Regrets."
