Jennifer Joanna Aniston was born February 11th 1969 and gained worldwide recognition as Rachel Green is the smash US sitcom Friends. This role earned her an Emmy Award, a Golden Globe Award, and a Screen Actors Guild Award.
She also enjoys a successful film career with starring roles in films such as She's the One, The Good Girl, Bruce Almighty, Marley & Me, and Along Came Polly.
Such is her worldwide success and A-list status, Forbes listed her as the 10th richest woman in the entertainment industry in 2007. She has been on the Forbes Celebrity 100 list, based on "earnings and fame", every year since 2001, and indeed topped the list in 2003.
Her earnings have been reported as $27 million in 2008 alone.
Jennifer supports many charity foundations, including St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, the "It Can't Wait" campaign to free Burma, AmeriCares, Clothes of Our Back, and Feeding America. She donated $500,000 to Doctors Without Borders.
In her early years Jennifer dated actor Charlie Schlatter and briefly dated musician Adam Duritz. From 1995 to 1998, she was romantically involved with actor Tate Donovan. However it was in May 1998 when her media attention rose exponentially! She began dating actor Brad Pitt and they soon married in July 2000. They became the darlings of Hollywood but it was all to come to an end as they announced their separation in early 2005.
In the following months, the public's reaction towards their ensuing divorce became the headline news of media shows.
Following her divorce, Jennifer began a relationship with actor Vince Vaughn, and then singer John Mayer.
She is the godmother of Coco Riley Arquette, the daughter of her Friends co-star Courteney Cox.
