Nicole Prescovia Elikolani Valiente Scherzinger was born on 29th June 1978. She is an American pop/R&B singer, songwriter and dancer who is best known as the lead singer of the Pussycat Dolls.
Prior to her fame with the Dolls she was a backing vocalist rock group Days of the New.
In May 2003, Nicole joined the Pussycat Dolls , who were being re-cast as recording artists. They have released two albums, PCD and Doll Domination, with two supporting tours.
Now the Dolls have worldwide status with top 10 hits including "Don't Cha" and "When I Grow Up". Their album PCD went double-platinum in 2006.
This resultant success significantly raised Nicole's profile in the media spotlight and she went on to record a series of duets/guest vocals with a wide array of male vocalists including Shaggy and Will Smith.
Nicole dates Nick Hexum of rock band 311 at a concert in 2000. They dated and later became engaged but broke it off in 2004. For the last few years she has been dating Formula One world champion racing driver Lewis Hamilton.
