Rachel Lauren Stevens was born on 9th April 1978. She is an English singer-songwriter, actress, dancer, television personality and model and is the former member of the hit teen pop group S Club 7.

After her early success with S-Club, Rachel launched a solo recording career in 2003, releasing seven singles and two albums between 2003 and 2005.

In 2008, she came second in the sixth series of the BBC One series Strictly Come Dancing with her dance partner Vincent Simone.

Arguably her greatest success was whilst as a member S Club 7 - appearing in five series of S Club shows and also starring in the feature film 'Seeing Double'.

Whilst in S Club, Rachel dated property developer Daniel Cohen for about two years before becoming engaged to actor Jeremy Edwards in February 2002. The couple broke up in early 2004. She has since dated Gavin Dein, son of former Arsenal vice-chairman David Dein but in June 2008 she announced her engagement to boyfriend Alex Bourne. They dated in August 2009 and in May 2010 announced they were expecting their first child.
