Kerry Jayne Elizabeth Katona was born on 6th September 1980. She is most well known for her contribution to the hit girl band Atomic Kitten and being the face of the Iceland TV adverts and reality shows.
Her music career was launched in 1999 as a member of all-female pop trio Atomic Kitten, which had been created by former OMD frontman Andy McCluskey. Her contribution led the band to four top-twenty singles in Britain, and their debut album Right Now reached number 39 on the British album charts. She left the group in February 2001 because she had become pregnant with the child of Westlife member Brian McFadden.
After their marriage, Kerry moved into television work, appearing on and presenting a mix of light entertainment programmes such as Britain's Sexiest and Loose Women. In February 2004, she won the third series of the British reality TV show I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!
Their marriage ended in 2006 and less than a year later she married Mark Croft in a private ceremony in Gretna Green. The marriage lasted three years and the couple are set to divorce.
Controversy has never been far away from Kerry with very high profile newspaper revelations of her private life and subsequent health, drug and financial problems. Between 2007 and 2009, Kerry was the subject of three MTV reality shows: Kerry Katona: Crazy in Love, Kerry Katona: Whole Again, and Kerry Katona: What's the Problem? Audiences peaked at over 500,000 for Kerry Katona: Crazy in Love
Recently though she has shown significant steps towards changing her image. She has split with Croft and signed a contract with top PR agency Can Associates to re-launch her career. She has recently been the subject of most weekly magazines including Closer, Heat and OK! and indeed has been pictured in numerous photoshoots wearing clothing from the one and only Glam Boutique.
